Two Matters
Two choreographers – one from Taiwan, one now living overseas – come together in Hong Kong with two distinct “matters” to explore.
Restory by CHEN Wu‑kang is rooted in the body, where touch quietly re‑positions its memories; Nowhere to Land by Bruce WONG is rooted in the mind, tracing thoughts as they flare and fade between order and imbalance.
In one work, weight presses into the floor, set against the rhythm of Cantonese tones etched deep in the bones. In the other, thoughts circle in mid‑air, mirroring the mind’s restless rise and fall.
Grounded bodies and drifting thoughts move in and out of each other, echoing the constant pull between holding on and letting go in our everyday lives.
